États-Unis : Le Sénateur Marco Rubio invite l’Interpol à lancer une alerte rouge contre le Président Nicolas Madouro
Le sénateur Marco Rubio a demandé ce lundi au procureur général de l’État, Merrick B. Garland, de demander à Interpol de lancer une “alerte rouge” pour la recherche et la capture du président vénézuélien Nicolás Maduro, qui effectuait une tournée internationale, a rapporté le quotidien dominicain Diario Libre.
“Maduro est un criminel accusé de s’être allié à des organisations terroristes pour utiliser des drogues illégales comme armes contre les États-Unis. Dans l’intérêt de la sécurité nationale des États-Unis et de la stabilité régionale, Maduro doit être poursuivi pour ses crimes contre le peuple vénézuélien”, a écrit l’élu de Floride dans sa lettre.
Dans la lettre, également envoyée au secrétaire américain à la Sécurité nationale, Alejandro Mayorkas, le sénateur d’origine cubaine a souligné que Maduro effectuait une tournée dans les pays membres d’ Interpol, a souligné le journal.
“Maduro se sent apparemment suffisamment en sécurité pour voyager à l’étranger afin d’obtenir le soutien d’autres autocrates pour son régime”, a déclaré Marco Rubio citée par Diario Libre.
